Foundations & Slabs

Foundations & Slabs

A solid foundation engineered for coastal soil, so your project starts right.

Everything you build sits on the foundation, so it has to be right. We pour footings, slabs, and pads engineered for Savannah’s sandy, shifting coastal soil, giving your home, garage, or addition a stable base that won’t settle or crack.

Engineered for our soil

Coastal Georgia soil moves with moisture, and a foundation that ignores that will fail early. We prep and compact the sub-base properly, install vapor barriers and rebar to spec, and pour at the correct thickness so loads are carried evenly. The result is a foundation built to pass inspection and last the life of the structure.

Slabs for any project

Garage pads, shed and workshop slabs, equipment pads, and slabs for room additions: we handle them all, coordinating with your builder or inspector and keeping the project on schedule.

Your options

Foundations and slabs we pour.

From a backyard shed to a full addition, we pour the base your project needs.

Monolithic slabs

Slab and footing poured together. A common, efficient base for additions and small structures.

Footings & stem walls

Poured footings with block or poured stem walls for raised or load-bearing structures.

Garage & shop slabs

Thick, reinforced pads sized for vehicles, equipment, and storage.

Shed & equipment pads

Smaller slabs for sheds, generators, AC units, and outdoor equipment.

Our process

How we deliver your foundations & slabs.

01

Plan & estimate

We review your plans or project with you, confirm requirements, and provide a written quote.

02

Excavate & compact

We dig to the right depth and compact the sub-base so loads are carried evenly on our shifting soil.

03

Forms, vapor barrier & rebar

We set forms, lay a vapor barrier where needed, and install rebar to spec for a foundation that lasts.

04

Pour & finish

We pour footings and slabs at the correct thickness and finish the surface flat and true.

05

Cure & inspection

We cure properly and coordinate with your builder or inspector so the project keeps moving.

Estimating

What affects your foundations & slabs cost.

Every project is different, so we give a written quote after seeing the site. These are the factors that move the number up or down.

Size and type

A shed pad, a garage slab, and a full addition foundation are very different in material and labor.

Soil and site prep

Poor soil, fill dirt, or sloped lots may need extra excavation and compaction.

Reinforcement and spec

Heavier loads call for more rebar, thicker footings, and stronger mixes.

Access and excavation

Tight sites or significant digging and haul-off add to the cost.

Inspections and permits

Permitted, inspected work involves documentation and coordination that factor into the timeline and price.

Answers

Foundations & Slabs questions, answered.

Concrete reaches most of its strength in about 7 days and full strength around 28 days. Builders can often begin framing before full cure depending on the design. We'll coordinate timing with your contractor.
